NDA stands for National
Defense Academy. It is Indian Armed Force’s joint services academy, which
consists of three services - Army, Navy and Air force. It is India’s one of the
best military training academies. The NDA exams are directed two times in a
year. The NDA is situated in Khadakwasla
near Pune, Maharashtra. It is world’s first tri-service institution. The alumni
of NDA incorporate 3 Param Vir-Chakra receivers
and 9 Ashoka Chakra receivers.
Candidates of NDA are selected by a written test coordinate by the Union Public service Commission. This test is followed by many interviews including general aptitude tests, group discussion, physiological tests, verbal and non-verbal ability and medical test. The classes of NDA started in two times, June and January. NDA coaching institute in Chandigarh is one of the best institutes in India.
There are two main parts of
this exam-
1.
General Awareness
2.
Mathematics
Both two exams held on the
same day. The examiners judge the candidates based upon their knowledge about
chemistry, English, physics, politics, life science, geography, current affairs,
etc. The more you practice more marks you get. That means the key factor of
cracking NDA exam is practice and self study.

TIPS FOR SUCCESS
1. Know
your course: The
first thing you have to do is to know your syllabus well. You have to find your
strength as well as weaknesses to crack this toughest exam.
2. Construct
a schedule: Make a schedule on the syllabus. Do not try
to prepare two sections at the same time simultaneously. Study one thoroughly,
and then, start a new topic.
3. Know
your strength: There
are some areas in which you are very strong. Suppose you like mathematics and
you don’t like geography. Study two chapters of geography and the practice
mathematics to treat you.
4. Start
from the base: NDA is one of the toughest exams in the
world. If you don’t know the basics, then you cannot solve many questions. So,
my suggestion is to start from the basic, then go to higher levels of
questions.
5. Previous
year paper: Solve previous year’s papers to know about
the question patterns.
6. Revise:
Every
day before starting a new chapter or new subject, revise the previous chapters
once. They will help you to settle down your mind.
7. Consistency:
Consistency
is the key to success. This may sound like very instructive but it is correct.
Give 100% effort and I know you will be successful in NDA
exams.
The strategy of cracking
NDA interview is certainly to cover maximum portion of the course and solve
maximum questions based upon them. I would like you to suggest to do a quality
study and do not go for a quantitative study. Try to prepare yourself as you
can answer maximum questions based upon the chapters you have studied.
